Capcay Food Tour Pontianak.

Capcay, Cap in hokkian dialect means ten. Cay means vegetable. Literally means dish with various vegetables, such as chinese cabbage, green mustard, carrot, corn, mushroom, cabbage, peas, beans, cauliflower, broccoli, spring onions, tomatoes, and onions.

Animal meat is commonly added to these foods, such as beef, chicken, eggs, liver and chicken ampela, shrimp, meatballs and squid. Capcay cooked in two ways, boiled (sauce) or fried.

 

Capcay, Cap dalam dialek hokkian berarti sepuluh. Cay berarti sayur. Secara harfiah berarti hidangan dengan berbagai sayuran, seperti kubis cina, sawi hijau, wortel, jagung, jamur, kol, kacang polong, kacang-kacangan, kembang kol, brokoli, daun bawang, tomat, dan bawang bombay.

Daging hewan biasanya ditambahkan pada makanan ini, seperti daging sapi, ayam, telur, hati dan ampela ayam, udang, bakso dan cumi. Cap Cai dimasak dengan dua cara, direbus (saus) atau digoreng.
